3rd International Plagiarism Conference: "Transforming practice for an authentic future"

Conference themes will include consideration of ethical use of digital sources and addressing issues of plagiarism in a Web 2.0 environment.

Confirmed speakers at the conference include: Isabel Nisbet, Director of Regulation and Standards at the QCA, Gerry McKiernan, Science and Technology Librarian, Iowa State University and Johnathan Bailey, author of Plagiarism Today.

In addition, an open forum will debate whether student essay writing sites are a valid or an exploitative response to a traditional education system struggling to cope with a changing pedagogical landscape. Participating in the debate will be Barclay Littlewood, Managing
Director of UKEssays.com.
